Thirty seconds to make someone hungry

A food commercial has thirty seconds to make someone hungry and five to make them remember the pack. Brands and distributors selling into GCC retail need both, in Arabic and English, for TV, cinema, in-store screens and the feed, usually for a launch date that will not move. baeQ handles food commercial production in Dubai from script to broadcast master, with the appetite shots built through our cinematic AI pipeline and the edit, grade and sound finished by filmmakers.

The method suits packaged food in particular. A chocolate bar, a juice, a dairy range or a snack is a product with a fixed form, which means it can be built once at film grade and then shown in every flavour, pack size and market without a second shoot. The food and beverage service covers the craft; the films in our work show the finish.

02Who it is for

Films for brands, distributors and retailers

A brand owner needs a hero commercial that carries the campaign idea and survives being cut to every length a media plan asks for. A distributor bringing a range into the UAE needs the same film localised for the market, with Arabic voice and on-screen text and the pack that sits on the shelf here, not the one in the home market. A retailer running a seasonal promotion needs a dozen product spots that look like one campaign and were made in a fortnight. Those three briefs make up most food commercial production in Dubai.

We build all three the same way. The campaign idea comes first, written and boarded by a director. The product is then built once at film grade, lit as a beauty shot, and shown in every variant the range needs. Seasonal gifting, Ramadan and the back-to-school window each get their version without a new production. For individual products rather than campaigns, see product films; for restaurants and cafés, the restaurant page.

03The craft

The appetite shot, built frame by frame

Every food commercial turns on one or two shots: the chocolate snapping, the juice hitting the glass, the cheese pulling from the slice. On a set these are the shots that take the day, with a food stylist, a motion-control rig and a dozen takes to catch the one moment. In our pipeline the shot is built and refined until it is right, then held at that moment for as long as the edit needs. The result is the appetite shot a brand expects from a broadcast spot, without the day.

The pack shot gets the same care. Packaging is rebuilt from the artwork files so the logo, the claims and the barcode are exact, lit to show the material, and placed in the end frame with the price flash or the retailer logo versioned per market. Look at Luxury Chocolate and Tropical Juice for the finish; both were produced as commercials, not as clips.

04Why AI

Why produce food commercials with AI

A conventional food commercial production in Dubai means a studio day, a food stylist, a crew, a motion-control rig and the hope that the product behaves. The budget goes on the set, and every extra flavour or pack size is another setup. Our pipeline moves that budget into the idea and the finish. The product is built once; the variants are revisions. A range of eight flavours costs a fraction of eight setups, and a change to the pack artwork two days before air is a fix, not a reshoot.

The finish is the same as any commercial we make: a human edit, colour grade, sound design, music and Arabic and English versions mastered to broadcast standard. Where a campaign needs a live performance or a real kitchen, we plan a hybrid production or say so. The Dubai Film and TV Commission issues permits for location work; a studio-built spot needs none. Send us the brief and the pack artwork, and a producer replies within two working days with a treatment and a quote.

Yes. The product is built once at film grade and each flavour, pack size and market version is produced from the same master, so a full range costs far less than a separate setup for each product.
Yes. Spots are mastered to the technical specifications of UAE and GCC broadcasters, with cinema, digital and social versions delivered alongside the TV master in the lengths the media plan needs.
Yes. Scripts, voice, on-screen text, pack claims and subtitles are produced in Arabic and English as standard, with cultural review for each market the campaign runs in.
Yes. Packs are rebuilt from the print-ready artwork files so the logo, claims and barcode match what is on the shelf, and a late change to the artwork is a revision rather than a reshoot.
Most commercials run 2–6 weeks from approved concept to delivery, including the flavour and market variants. A launch campaign with several products is scoped individually, and the timeline is confirmed with the quote.
